Greg Allen Swallow

Greg Allen Swallow, age 53, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Miami Valley Hospital.

He was born on August 21, 1972, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Beverly (Wysong) Settles.

In addition to his mother, Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Andrew and Josephine Wysong; his aunt, Carol Plankenhorn; his idol Dale Earnhardt; and brother-in-law, Jay Cassel.

Greg is survived by his loving wife, Sondra Swallow; his children, Jessica (Bruce) Jones, Dylan (Melanie Rhodes) Hoiser, Brant (Logan) Swallow, Tara (James) Brubaker, and Ayden Swallow. He is also survived by his sisters, Andrea Cassel (Bill McGathey) and Kimberly Clark (Todd); and his cherished grandchildren, Ayden, Remington, Kenadie, Memphis, Annie, Eleanor, Joseph, Jacelin, Lennie, Carter, Braxton, Noah, and Mason.

Greg was a proud veteran of the United States Navy, where he served for four years. He was also a life member of American Legion Post 360. He worked as a welder for many years, Pardo's Towing, and alongside his brother-in-law at Cassel Construction.

Greg enjoyed racing and, above all, spending time with his children and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
