Guadalupe Self

Guadalupe "Lupe" Self, 81, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away early Sunday morning, February 28, 2021, at Ayden Healthcare in Greenville.

She was born on October 28, 1939, in Brownsville, Texas, to the late Seferino and Anita (Izeguirre) Castro.

In addition to her parents, Lupe was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Self; her son, Eugene Self; her sisters, Rosa Cuevas, and Tiburcia "Butch" Garza; and her brother, Seferino Castro.

Lupe is survived by her husband of 61 years, Martin Self, whom she married on November 9, 1959; her son, David Self; her grandchildren, Kelly Spahr, Shelly Spahr, Samantha Voisard, Brandy Hill, Maria Self, David Self, Lacrisha Brandt, Mason Self, and Grace Self; her great grandchildren, Christian Spahr, Martina Spahr, Josalyn Capps, Isabella Capps, Haillie Bush, Mcayla Bush, Hudson Brandt, Harrison Brandt, Lilly Alston, Kylie Hill, Kearra Hill, and Ty Hill. She is also survived by her sisters, Irma Villarreal, Anita Garibay, Connie Flores, and Antonia Armendariz.

A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of Lupe's family. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
