James “Jimmy” Everett Brenner, age 66, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital.
He was born on November 26, 1957 in Union City, Ohio to Beverly Ann Lees (Onkst) and the late James Webster Brenner.
In addition to his dad, Jimmy is preceded in death by his loving wife, Christine Brenner (Payton); his stepmother, Linda L. Brenner (Keaser); and sister, Robin Hunt (Greer).
Jimmy is survived by his mother, Beverly Lees of Greenville; sons, Jesse (Roylyn) Brenner of Union City, OH and Jamin Brenner of Greenville; stepchildren, Katrina Jewell and Jake Jewell; sisters, Charnell (Clay) Hough of Lubock, TX, Tammy (Dennis) Cothran of South Carolina, and Tonya (Bruce) Glaze of Greenville; and nephew, Shawn Brenner of Texas.
He graduated from Ansonia High School. Jimmy was a body man, worked a sawmill, and was a skilled cabinet maker. He loved being with his family more than anything and adored his cat’s “kids”, Furby and Menace. Jimmy had a heart of gold and will be deeply missed by his family.
Per Jimmys request, there will be no service at this time but per the family, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
