James "Jim" M. Price, 70, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at his home, surrounded by his family, on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

He was born on February 8, 1954, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Lowell and Georganna (Haworth) Price. 

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie Price and Greg Price. 

Jim is survived by his wife, Pam (Hughes) Price, whom he married on August 31, 2001; his children, Brandon (Margie) Price of New York, James Price of Huber Heights, and Jason Anderson of Troy; his stepchildren, Summer Hughes of Huber Heights and Travis Hollon of Gettysburg; his siblings, Steve (Linda) Price of Greenville, Pam (Ron) Beckner of Arcanum and Patty (Greg) Spencer of Arcanum, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Jim was a 1973 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School. He was a journeyman plumber and worked in construction his entire life. Jim was a member of the UAW and FHC Church in Arcanum. In his free time, Jim enjoyed going fishing, reading western books, going on walks and hunting for mushrooms, and taking drives through the countryside. 

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, November 15, 2024, at Newcomer Cemetery, 8305 Painter Creek-Arcanum Road, Arcanum, Ohio 45304.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Darke County Special Olympics.
