Jeannine had a lifelong love of knowledge, reading and history. She loved to travel and she was able to accomplish her goal of visiting all 50 states, with Bud, when they visited Alaska in 2012. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother and took great pride in her home and yard and also enjoyed playing tennis to keep active. She especially loved making spaghetti for large family gatherings.

Jeannine attributed her strong will and determination to her grandmother, Mae Gruber, who raised her after she lost her mother at an early age. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and all their accomplishments. She loved them dearly and loved the time she was able to spend with them.

Jeannine and Bud moved back to their home town of Lima, Ohio, in 1999 to spend their retirement years with friends and family.
