Joyce I. Johnson

Joyce I. Johnson, 71, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Hospice of Miami County in Troy, Ohio.

Born on November 5, 1954, in Troy, Ohio, Joyce was the beloved daughter of the late Ora and Daisy (Scammahorn) Berry.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Johnson, Wayne Berry, Wanda Berry, Christina Potter, and Debbie Berry.

Joyce's greatest joy in life was her family. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jennifer Johnson Vagedes (Christopher), and her cherished grandsons, Aron, Maxwell, and Zachary Vagedes, who meant the world to her. She is also survived by her sisters, Judy Blackburn (Don), Diana Royster, and Daisy Post (Leonard); along with many nieces and nephews.

A 1973 graduate of Milton Union High School, Joyce was a woman of quiet strength, kindness, and generosity. She dedicated many years of hard work to Harco Manufacturing Group in Moraine, Ohio, where she was a valued employee until her retirement in 2020. She was a member of the West Milton Eagles Post 3504 and attended the First Baptist Church in Tipp City. Joyce had a giving spirit and a caring heart, she was always the one others could count on, never hesitating to lend a hand or offer comfort.

Her love was steady and unconditional, and she found her deepest happiness in caring for those she loved.
