Judy D. Small

Judy D. Small, age 84, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 23, 2025.

She was born on December 7, 1940, in Delphos, Ohio, to the late Lawrence and Cleo (Slane) Hoover.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Small, whom she married on July 9, 1960, and who passed away on November 14, 2022; and her siblings, Helen (Jim) Fields and Joann (Tom) Arnett.

Judy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly “Kim” and John Guttadore of Arcanum; her grandson, Graham (Jessica) Guttadore of Arcanum; and her great-grandchildren, Colton and Naomi Moody.

Judy was 1958 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School. She worked for the University of Dayton for over 20 years, serving as their assistant director of food service. Judy was a remarkable woman who found joy in the simple things in life. Above all, her family was her greatest treasure. She cherished every moment spent with her loved ones, leaving a legacy of memories that will continue to inspire those who knew her. An avid crafter, Judy’s hands created beauty and joy, reflecting her kind spirit and creative nature. Her love for crafting was a testament to her ability to find delight in life's little moments.

Per Judy’s request, there will be no services.
