Justin Allen Howell, age 29, of Springboro, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 15, 2026.
He was born on March 31, 1997, in Dayton, Ohio, to Shawn Howell and Deanna Roten.
Justin is survived by his father, Shawn Howell of Centerville; his mother, Deanna Roten-Monbeck of Texas; his stepmother, Heather and Bill Thomas of Centerville; his fiancé, Noëlle Kipp, of Springboro; his siblings, Holden Howell of Centerville, Skylar Howell of Centerville, Timmy Foister of Middletown; James Foister of Kettering, and Cidney Monbeck of Centerville; his step siblings, Kaitlyn, Claire, and Caroline Thomas; his grandparents, Mary Howell of New Madison, Jim and Debi Morningstar of Centerville, and Pauline Chambers; his aunts and uncles, Chad and Barbara Howell of New Madison, Sherry and Jesse Holsapple of Eldorado, Jim and Katie Morningstar of Missouri, Andy and Christine Morningstar of Illinois, Terrie Rodgers, and Tom, Jim, and Joe Roten; and numerous great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dewayne Howell and James Grant Roten.
After graduating from Centerville High School in 2016, Justin continued his education at Wright State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended Life University in Georgia, graduating in September 2024 with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Justin worked at Howell Chiropractic in Kettering, where he was proud to work beside his dad.
Justin had a deep love for the outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, or camping with his family and friends, he embraced every opportunity to enjoy nature and make memories with those he loved. He was also a world traveler, always eager to explore new places, experience different cultures, and learn something new.
Justin wrestled in high school and later gave back to the sport he loved by refereeing. He was always willing to help others when in need. His caring and generous nature touched the lives of many, and he found joy in being there for others. He also had a special place in his heart for Disney movies and never lost his appreciation for the joy and wonder they brought.
Above all, Justin cherished his family and friends. He treasured the time he spent with them and was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved. His curiosity, adventurous spirit, generosity, and love for those around him will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A celebration of Justin’s life will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Castine Church, 624 US-127, Arcanum, OH 45304, with Pastor Christian Stewart officiating.
Guests may visit with Justin’s family on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the church.
