Layton James Dean White, 29, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 19, 2021, in Gettysburg, Ohio.
He was born on October 26, 1992, in Bradenton, Florida, to Steve White of New Madison and Beth Westfall of Union City, Indiana.
Layton was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Martha Noggle and Barry and Evelyn McLear.
Layton was a 2012 graduate of Tri Village High School. He worked for Fort Recovery Industries, where he was recently promoted to a lead supervisor position. Layton loved the outdoors and simply enjoying nature. He like to go fishing and ride dirt bikes with his brothers and friends. Layton lived life in the moment. He was always doing something and was always trying something new. Layton was also talented. He sketched and created many drawings throughout the years. His contagious laugh, silly personality, and overall goofiness will be missed by many.
In addition to his parents, Layton is survived by his stepmother, Julie McLear of New Madison; his children, Zaylee, Zyler, and Zechariah; his siblings, Cheyenne (Juan) White-Caixba of Union City, Indiana, Dagen White of New Madison, and William White of New Madison; and his nieces and nephews, Nadayo, Diego, Mariela, Sebastian.
Layton's family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
