Lindsay Ann Purnhagen, 42, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born on March 14, 1980, in Greenville, to Jim and Denise (Graham) Purnhagen of Greenville.
Lindsay was born and raised in Greenville, graduating from Greenville High School in 1998. She was very active and athletic; cheerleading and competing in cross country. She has worked in banking and finance her entire adult life. She started as a teller, obtaining a bachelor's degree in banking and finance. She eventually settled into a position at Farmer State Bank in Springboro, Ohio, as a loan officer.
Lindsay had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel and visiting the ocean and mountains. Her son Ethan was the center of her universe. She enjoyed taking Ethan and Aidan golfing. Lindsay touched several lives and had countless friends.
In addition to her parents, Lindsay is survived by her son, Ethan Sunsdahl of Greenville; her sister, Alisha (Adriana Burnside) Honeyman of Greenville; her nephews, Keegan and Aidan Honeyman of Greenville; her beloved dogs, Cash and Bruno; her good friends, Peggy and Jean; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A celebration of Lindsay's life will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given in Lindsay's honor to Tribute Funeral Homes to be used to provide meals for the amazing staff on the 4th floor Heart and Vascular Intensive Care Unit at Miami Valley Hospital.
