Lori L. Rader, 63, passed away on May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born on June 16, 1962, Lori was the beloved daughter of the late Helen Bills-Bussey and Raymond E. Bills.
In addition to her parents, Lori is preceded in death by her sister, Jeannie (Bill) Swartz.
Lori was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who cherished every moment spent with her family. She especially loved being with her children, grandchildren, sisters, and her significant other of 31 years, Andy Swartz. Lori had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed rock hunting, camping, swimming, and spending late nights around bonfires with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
She leaves behind her daughters of Joe Rader, Danielle Rader Cheadle and her husband Joe Cheadle of Greenville, and Monica Rader Rogers of Greenville; her cherished grandchildren, Isaac (Caylynn) Rogers, Dylan Brown, Josh (Elizabeth) Brown, Alex Rogers, Emily Kreider (Nick Moore), Joseph Cheadle, Maddallen Able, and Landon Black; and her adored great-grandchildren: Kaison Rogers, Zariah Brown, Blake Moore, Rebecca Brown, Penelope Brown, and Havenn Johns.
Lori is also survived by her loving sisters, Mary (Chris) Davis, Janice Steed, and Amy (Steve) Deskin; along with many beloved nieces and nephews: Robert (Michelle) Barton, Krystal (Chris) Washington, Adam (Megan) McCombs, Todd Deskin, Ryan Deskin, Brittney (Adam) Crumley, Shaun (Amy) Shell, April (Reuben) Smith, Chris (Dani) May, Caitlin (Rick) House, and Heather Davis.
Lori will be remembered for her kind heart, her love of family, her strength, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her laughter, warmth, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by who knew and loved her.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
A celebration of Lori's life will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Short officiating. Burial will follow at Greenmound Cemetery, New Madison.
Memorial contributions may be made to Tribute Funeral Homes to help offset Lori’s funeral expenses.
