Loyd Lewis Wolfe

Loyd Wolfe Jr., age 69, of Greenville passed away at 7:52 am Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at his residence.

Loyd was born on January 25, 1957, in Richmond, Indiana, to the late Loyd Wolfe, Sr. & Evelyn Kay (Young) Huffman.

In addition to his parents, Loyd is preceded in death by his stepfather, Arthur Huffman, Sr. and his aunt, Carol Jamison.

Loyd is survived by his wife of 33 years, Carla (Martino) Wolfe, whom he married September 4, 1993; children, Adam Wolfe, Cassie & Sheldon Hoffman, and Tyler Wolfe; grandchildren, Eli Wolfe, Brooklynn Hoffman, and Peyton Wolfe; siblings, Delores Brown, Mark Wolfe, Cliff & Lorraine Wolfe, David Wolfe, Dianna Callahan, and Arthur Huffman, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Loyd also cherished the many close friends who became like family to him, including Vanessa West and her son, Henry, Chris and Tammy Lovett, and so many others. He loved these friendships deeply and treasured the time they spent together.

Loyd proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He carried that same dedication into his working years as a dump truck driver for Bunch Trucking, having previously driven for Stickley Trucking. Loyd found happiness in riding his motorcycle, spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, and gathering with friends at the Hogg Shop in Arcanum. He will be remembered for the memories he made, the time he shared with those around him, and the things he loved most.

Guests may visit the family on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.

In honor of Loyd, the family invites everyone to bring their trucks and motorcycles and help fill the parking lot in his memory. Let’s surround his family with the things he loved and celebrate the life of a man who found so much joy in the open road.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tribute Funeral Homes to help offset funeral expenses.
