Luella M. Deniston, 92, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
She was born on November 11, 1931, in Brock, to the late Edward and Anna (Post) Braun.
In addition to her parents, Luella was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Deniston, whom she married on November 27, 1954, and who passed away on June 1, 2012; her grandson, Josh Deniston; and her siblings, Joe Braun and Juanita Braun.
Luella is survived by her children, Ed (Claudia) Deniston, Michael Deniston, and Barb Tobias; her grandchildren, Chris (Annessa) Deniston, Tricia (Craig) Homan, Kia (Mike) Stephan, and Jamie (Shawn) Deniston; her 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Luella spent a majority of her life as an Air Force wife and homemaker, caring for her family. She always put others needs before herself. Luella enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her free time, she liked taking walks and enjoying the beautiful scenery around her. She attended and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, October 7, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenville, with Father Matt Feist celebrating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Guests may visit with her family on Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM and again on Monday from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
