Marcus “Bubby” Alan Bingham, age 33, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 3, 2025.

He was born on March 23, 1992, in Greenville to Mark A. Bingham and Jo Anna (Beavins) Bingham, both of Greenville.

In addition to his parents, Marcus is survived by his siblings, Alexis (Michael Carpenter) Bingham and Faith Bingham, all of Greenville; his grandparents, Jack Bingham of Greenville, Bonnie and Randy Ross of Hollansburg, and Sharon Beavins and Fred Smith, of Salamonia, Indiana; his aunts and uncles, Shawn Trissel of Greenville, Jeff Beavins of Minnesota, Jenny (Tom) Severance of Greenville, Christina (Kathy Glunt) Beavins of Greenville, South Carolina, Karen Meinsen of Fountian City, Indiana, and Amy (Mark) Lacey of Fairborn, Ohio; his family dog, Karly; and numerous cousins and countless friends.

Marcus was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Beavins, his great grandparents, Bob and Elcie Anthony; his uncle, Joel Beavins, and his aunt, Mendy Trissel.

Marcus was a 2010 graduate of Tri-Village High School. He then attended Ball State University, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science. While at Ball State, Marcus had an opportunity to study abroad at Keele University in England, an institution which he deeply fell in love with. This experience encouraged him to obtain his master’s degree at Keele shortly after.

Marcus worked for IU East in Richmond and served as their assistant director of academic advising, a role he thoroughly enjoyed. In his free time, Marcus enjoyed reading and served on the board of directors for the New Madison Library for the past few years. Marcus enjoyed traveling and experiencing new things. In you knew Marcus, you knew he loved running. Almost every weekend was filled with a 5K and Marcus has completed over 200 5K races in his life.

A celebration of Marcus’ life will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.

Guests may visit with Marcus’ family on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be given to the New Madison Public Library.
