Marene Farmer

Marene Farmer, age 77, of New Madison, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Greenville Care Center.

She was born on March 27, 1949 in New Madison, to the late William and Helen (Falknor) Hodgin. 

In addition to her parents, Marene is preceded in death by her loving husband, Terry Farmer.

Those left to cherish Marene's memory include her children, Chantelle H.M. (Aaron) Sebring and Corvin J.D. (Tori) Farmer; granddaughter, Kayleigh Farmer; and brother, William (Rebecca) Hodgin II.

Marene loved the Lord above all else. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she never hesitated to share the Word of God with everyone she met. She made the Lord a priority in all that she did and touched the lives of many through her faith, kindness, and love.

Marene cherished her family and treasured every moment spent together. She also found joy in crafting and event planning, where her creativity and thoughtful nature truly shined. Her love for the Lord, devotion to her family, and caring spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished by those who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM on Monday, October 5, 2026 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. 

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the funeral home.
