Marilyn Mae Smith

Marilyn Mae Smith, age 90, of Greenville, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Brethren Retirement Community.

She was born on May 8, 1935, in Hollansburg to the late Ralph D. and Mae Delilah (McClure) Summers.

In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her son, Keith Smith; two infant daughters; and six grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Marilyn's memory include her sons, Kenneth Smith, Larry Smith, and Lonnie Smith; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marilyn dedicated many years of service providing transportation for Darke County Job and Family Services. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, watching game shows, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.

A funeral service will follow the visitation at 7:00 PM on Thursday with Rev. Eric Fee officiating.
