Mark A. DePoy, age 53, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 16, 2025, in Greenville.
He was born on June 28, 1971, in Greenville to the late Charles Jerry and Janet Arlene (Crawford) DePoy.
Mark is survived by his children, Justin DePoy and Angelia DePoy, both of Lewisburg; his siblings, Jerry (Tina) DePoy of Bradford, and Tamara (Chris) Landis of Greenville; close friends, Vickie and Jeff Wessling of Bradford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A 1990 graduate of Greenville High School, Mark spent many years in the construction industry, demonstrating hard work and dedication. However, it was in the realm of music where he truly shined. Mark was all things music—his passion shone brightest when he was on stage, serving as the lead singer for various bands throughout his life. Whether jamming with friends or performing for a crowd, he filled every moment with joy and energy.
Mark also had a love of sports, especially football and softball. He could often be found cheering for his favorite teams. Additionally, his connection with horses brought him immense joy. For many years, he enjoyed showing and riding, forming a deep bond with them.
Mark will be remembered not just for his talents and interests, but for his warm spirit and the kindness he showed to everyone around him. He was a true friend, a loving soul, and an unforgettable presence in our lives.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville.
