Maurice “Mark” Lee Wagner, age 71, of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Maurice was born on July 17,1955 in Greenville, to the late Jerald (Lyna) Wagner and Mary (Leroy) Crawford.
In addition to his parents, Mark is preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Wagner.
Mark was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, fiancé, and friend whose life was filled with family, cherished memories, and a love for the things that brought him happiness. Though his passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, the memories he created and the love he shared will live on for generations to come.
Mark found some of his greatest happiness in life's simple pleasures, especially spending time with his family. His grandchildren held a special place in his heart, and some of his favorite moments were made with them by his side. Whether taking them for rides around town in his golf cart, spending time together, or simply enjoying hearing about their shenanigans, those moments were among life's greatest treasures to him.
He enjoyed spending his Sundays watching football and cheering for his favorite team, the Indianapolis Colts. He also loved watching NASCAR and attending races at Eldora Speedway, where he made many special memories alongside his family. Whether cheering for his favorite team or enjoying the excitement of race day, these were some of the things he truly loved.
Mark spent 28 years driving truck, making a living on the open road. Over the years, the miles added up, and truck driving became a significant part of his life. It was a career that took him many places, but no matter how far the road led him, the people he loved and the memories he made with his family remained what mattered most.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Chelsea; his sons, Robert (Bambi), Chris (Stephanie), and Sean (Kayla); and his stepson, Jeremy. He also leaves behind his fiancée, Tamara Bollheimer, who shared an important part of his life, and his faithful companion, Boogie, who was his little sidekick and a constant source of laughter and entertainment.
His legacy continues through his many grandchildren: Saylor, Spencer, Stella, Scarlett, Sophia, Teagan, Harper, Rylee, Kenton, Atley, Emma, Kayla, Piper, Peyton, Curtis, Kolton, Jesse, and Carson; and his great-grandchildren, Ava Lynn and Paxtyn.
Mark is also survived by his siblings, Judy Hardin (Bill Anderson) and George Wagner.
Mark's life was not measured by the things he owned or the places he went, but by the people he loved and the memories he left behind. His grandchildren will carry with them the memories of golf cart rides, family time, laughter, and the special bond they shared with Grandpa. Although saying goodbye is never easy, those who loved Mark can find comfort in knowing that a part of him will always remain in the stories told, the memories shared, the family gatherings, and the generations he leaves behind. He may have taken his final lap, but his memory will keep racing in the hearts of those who loved him. Forever Loved, Forever Missed, and Never Forgotten.
