Michael Lee Straszheim

Michael Lee Straszheim, age 65, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Everheart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.

Michael was born on April 10, 1960, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Edward Straszheim and Marjorie (Shiflett) Smith. He lived a life rooted in hard work, faith, and love for his family.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mary Lou Straszheim; his nephew, Ryan Straszheim; and his nieces, Jessica Bailey and Jaime Straszheim.

Those left to cherish Michael's memory include his beloved daughter, Nikea (PJ Mills) Henson of Greenville; his siblings, Terri Straszheim Elliott of Kentucky, Danny Straszheim of Eaton, Ronald Straszheim of Eaton, Bonnie (Rick Fields) Holsapple of Eaton, and Bradley (Tammy) Straszheim of Eaton; along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

Michael worked as a truck driver for many years, a career that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. He was a faithful member of Lighthouse Church, where he also worked doing maintenance. Michael took great pride in serving his church family and truly loved the time he spent there.

In his free time, Michael found joy in playing pool and was proud to have won numerous pool tournaments. He also loved fishing, mushroom hunting, painting, and roofing-always staying busy and working with his hands. Above all else, Michael loved the Lord and lived his life guided by his faith.

Michael now finds peace in eternal rest and is joyfully reunited with his beloved dog, Lady, whom he cherished dearly.

Memorial contributions may be made to Tribute Funeral Homes to help offset funeral expenses.

 A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM-11:30 AM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. 

A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:30 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Hershel Fee officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Lewisburg, Ohio.
