Miriam C. Bennett

Miriam Bennett, age 94, of Greenville passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville.

She was born January 29, 1931, in Adams Township to Pierre V. and Amanda (Schneck) Coppess. Also preceding her in death is her husband, Donald F. Bennett in 2004, whom she married in 1953; one son, Timothy Bennett in 1971; five sisters, Catherine Bevins, Margaret Keller, and three infant sisters; and brothers, Vernon (Dorothy) Coppess and Lowell Coppess.

She was a 1949 graduate of Greenville High School and a 1952 graduate of Reid Memorial Hospital and practiced many years in her profession as an R.N.

Surviving are two sons, Mark (Mercy) Bennett and Chris Bennett; three grandchildren, Heather, Stephanie (David), and Jonathon (Sarah); great grandchildren, Tyler, Wyatt, Cody, Rocky, and Audrey; and one sister-in-law, Doris Coppess. According to her wishes, there will be no funeral, nor visitation.
