Patricia Ann Onkst

Patricia Ann Onkst, age 81, of Greenville, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.

She was born on April 1, 1944, in Piqua, Ohio, to the late Richard William and Hazel Irene (Mullins) Nill.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Gerald Onkst; her infant daughter, Teresa Marie; her sister and brother-in-law, Irene and Norvin Coppock; and her brother-in-law, Mike Wert.

Those surviving include her sisters, Marylyn Wert and Jeanie Nickell, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia and Gerald were members of many organizations, including the American Legion, the Moose, and were lifetime members of the VFW. They enjoyed traveling together to visit clubs in different cities and states. Patricia also loved reading and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. They cherish fond memories of sleepovers at their aunt's house and breakfast dates the following morning.

Services for Patricia will be held at a later date.
