Ralph Whittaker, age 78, of Arcanum, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH.
He was born on August 19, 1946 in Portland, IN to the late Herman and Pauline Whittaker.
In addition to his parents, Ralph is preceded in death by his siblings, Marion Whittaker, Nevin Whittaker, Doris Anthony, Nancy Jones, Martha Lumpkin, Kay Anthony, and Donald Whittaker.
Those left to cherish Ralph's memory include his loving wife, Evelyn (Wogoman) Whittaker of Arcanum; son, Aaron (Jodi) Whittaker of Pleasant Hill, OH; daughter, Sarah (Bryan) Smith of Dublin, OH; grandchildren, James (Kaitlin Thomson) Whittaker, Andrew Whittaker, and Sydney Smith; siblings, Roger Whittaker, Robert Whittaker, Darrell Whittaker, Jeanie Unger, and Marceil Hecht; and many nieces and nephews.
Ralph graduated from Ansonia High School in 1966. He is a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in the Vietnam War. Ralph worked for 28 years at Hobart where he was in Mixer Assembly. He retired from Hydro Aluminum in Sidney, OH. Ralph was active in church, he attended Family of God Ministries in Arcanum, OH. He loved to go fishing. Ralph enjoyed watching sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and the Cleveland Browns. He was always very active in his children's lives, attending their sporting events and activities.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, July 28, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes with Dr. Joseph LeMaster officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the start of the service at noon at the funeral home.
