Robert "Bob" Leo Barga, 78, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away, unexpectedly, on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at his home.
He was born on March 13, 1945, in Union City, Indiana, to the late Alva and Ellen (Bulshire) Barga.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his grandson, Matthew Teaford; his step-son, Brian Harleman; his son-in-law, Alvin "Tiny" Kanorr; and 12 brothers and sisters.
Bob worked for years at BSG Warehouse as a forklift operator before retiring. He loved to play cards with his "card buddies"; play shuffle board and relaxing with a fishing pole.
Robert leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Karen (Vititoe) Barga, whom he married on June 18, 1994; his children, Kathy Kanorr, Bob (Sherry) Barga, Jr., Chuck (Lisa) Barga, Cheryl Harleman, Christi (Todd) Teaford; his grandchildren, Jaron, Dustin, and Marshall Kanorr, Robbie (Leah) Barga, Shelby (Zeb) Luth, Chuck Barga, Jr., Ty Teaford, Siera (Bill) Wilder, Cody (Jenna) Fleming, Brandi (Darrel Aaron) Fleming; and his 10 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Rose Pursley; his sisters-in-law, Rita (Clyde) Poland and Marcie Bethel, Becky Hummel, and Robin (Pete) Apgar; his brothers-in-law, Larry (Barb) Vititoe, Scott Vititoe, Mick (Teresa) Vititoe, and Chuck (Christine) Vititoe; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob's family will be receiving guests on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Darke County Humane Society located at 7053 State Route 49, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
