Robert R. Jessup II, age 70, of Ansonia, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.
He was born on September 29, 1955 in Union City, IN to Betty (Brodrick) Jessup and the late Robert Jessup, Sr.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Steven Jessup, Ronald Jessup, and Paul Jessup.
Those left to cherish Robert's memory include his mother, Betty Jessup of Union City, OH; his loving wife, Debbie Jessup of Ansonia; children, Anthony R. Jessup of Ansonia, Jennifer (Ben) Braun of West Milton, and Robert L. (Pam) Chandler III of Anna; his grandchildren, Anthony L. Jessup, Sebastian Braun, Phillip Braun, Lillian Braun, Robby Chandler, Brynn Schmitz, and Drew (Hannah) Brodman; his three great-grandchildren; and his nephew, Joseph Jessup of Versailles.
Robert attended Mississinawa High School and received his associates degree from the State University of New York. He was a man of many talents and was very proud of how he used them in the varied jobs he worked. Robert worked as a roofer, a painter, a registered nurse, an EMT, a firefighter, a truck driver, and on the railroad. He was also a Union City Village Councilman.
He was very artistic and loved painting and putting together military airplane models.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
