Robert Gene Sprowl

Robert Gene Sprowl, age 58 of Union City, Ohio, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, IN.

He was born on July 9, 1965 in Greenville to Barbara Miller and the late Leroy Sprowl.

In addition to his father, Robert is preceded in death by his sons, Theodore Sprowl and Nathaniel Sprowl; and brother and sister-in-law; Thomas and Theresa Sprowl; brother-in-law, Robert Gaynor; father-in-law, Daryl Lee Baker.

Those left to cherish Robert's memory include his loving wife of 25 years, Amy Sprowl; sons, Shane and Shawn Sprowl; his mother, Barbara (Rick) Miller; sister, Karen (Vincent) Crow; brother, David Sprowl; mother-in-law, Pam Brooks; sister-in-law, Carisa (Jeremy) Edwards; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other family members.

Robert loved fishing more than anything. Robert enjoyed spending time with his kids and family. He was a hog farmer for many years. He had a passion for working on demolition derby cars, going to the gun range, and rigging/fixing anything he could. Robert loved his best friends and dogs, Lilah and Edwin.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
