Roger Ray Billups

Roger Ray Billups, age 70, of Versailles, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2025 at Ayden Nursing Home, Greenville.

He was born on September 21, 1954 in Anderson, IN to the late Myron R. Whitted and Bonnie (Alberson) Whitted.

In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Billups.

Those left to cherish Roger's memory include his wife, Samantha Billups; daughter, Roberta (Jason, Sr.) Yost of Greenville; brother, Jeff (Leann) Billups of Greenville; grandchildren, Alica (Shawn) Wright, Shannon Yost, Jason Yost Jr.; great grandchildren, Emmitt Wright and Kai Cunningham; nieces and nephew, Coral Crowell, Elizabeth Whitley, and JD Billups Jr.; great nieces and nephews, Lovey Crowell, Link Tedore, Weston Smith, Sam Smith, and Jensen Smith.

Roger worked many years as a truck driver. He had a love for animals. He enjoyed volunteering at the Darke County Humane Society and the animal shelter in Richmond, IN. Roger loved old western movies and listening to country music.

A visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville.

A funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025 following the visitation at the funeral home.
