Steve W. Brumbaugh

Steve W. Brumbaugh, age 71, of Pitsburg, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at his home.

He was born on September 14, 1954, in Darke County to the late Paul and Mary Ellen (Lavy) Brumbaugh.

In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his siblings, Richard (Carolyn) Brumbaugh, Marlin Brumbaugh, and Danny Brumbaugh; his brother-in-law, Don Evans; and his sister-in-law, Terri Brumbaugh.

Steve is survived by his wife of 29 years, Julie (Green) Brumbaugh, whom he married in August of 1997; his children, Jessica (Matt) Kremer of Fort Recovery, Amanda Wood of Huber Heights, Carolyn (Gregory) Hess of Arcanum, and Jarrod (Jill) Brumbaugh of New Lebanon; his 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, with one on the way; his siblings, Jack (Mary Ellen) Brumbaugh of Pitsburg, Arlene Evans of Covington, Karen (Larry) Dickey of Greenville, and John (Robin) Brumbaugh of Pitsburg; his sisters-in-law, Jeanne Anderson of Arcanum and Judy Kinsey of West Milton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Steve was a 1973 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School. He was a lifelong farmer and beekeeper, taking great pride in his garden, orchard, and bees.
