Steven M. Miller, age 77 of Rossburg, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born on November 7, 1947, in Greenville, to the late Rodney and Ethel (Hole) Miller.
In addition to his parents, Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Strait) Miller, who passed away on June 22, 2013; and his brothers-in-law, Jerry Rayborn and Jim Fast.
Steve is survived by his sons, Troy (Tina) Miller of Rossburg, and Kerry (Tina) Miller of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina; his grandchildren, Mikeal Warren, Madyson Miller, Shelby Miller, and Miles Miller; his sister, Sara Rayborn Fast of Troy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Steve was a 1966 graduate of Ansonia High School. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he served honorably before being discharged. He went on to spend 47 years as a lineman for the telephone company in Greenville, retiring in 2012.
Although Steve was a simple man, he was known for his strong work ethic and determination. A true tinkerer at heart, he was a jack of all trades who could fix just about anything. He deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them—especially his beloved grandchildren, who held a special place in his heart. Steve was a proud member of the Ansonia American Legion and the Ansonia United Methodist Church.
