Susan E. Voke

December 5, 1957 — September 24, 2025

Greenville, Ohio

Susan E. Voke, age 67, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

She was born on December 5, 1957, in Greenville, to the late Junior and Virginia (Holsapple) Fourman.

Sue is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Gabe) McWhinney of St. Paris, Ohio, and Brittany Voke of Greenville; her grandchildren, Kylie, Cora, Landon, and Gavin McWhinney; her siblings, Marsha (Junior) Fellers of Richmond, Indiana, Connie (Dan) Rinehart of Greenville, Dennis (Bev) Fourman of Greenville, and Phil (Tammy) Fourman of Hollansburg; her aunt Janice Holsapple of Gettysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A proud 1976 graduate of Tri-Village High School, Sue dedicated her life to caring for others, especially children. Over the course of 36 years as a childcare provider, she helped raise and nurture more than 200 children in her home. If you knew Sue, you knew how deeply she cared for every child she encountered. Her smile was infectious, and her compassion left a lasting mark on everyone she met.

Sue also devoted 27 years as a 4-H advisor for the Darke County Beef 4-H Club, where her passion for youth development continued to shine. She played a key role in organizing the annual Skill-a-thon and Outstanding Exhibitor awards, mentoring countless young people with the same love and dedication she showed in all aspects of her life.

A woman of deep faith, Sue was active in the Emmaus Community and a devoted member of Reverent Church in Greenville. She generously gave her time to volunteer for the Darke County Pregnancy Help Center, further demonstrating her heart for service.

To Sue, family was defined not just by blood but by love. She took immense pride in supporting her grandchildren, whether at livestock shows, sporting events, or school activities. Her enthusiastic support and constant presence meant the world to them.

A true sports fan, Sue cheered faithfully for the Cincinnati Bengals, the Tennessee Lady Vols basketball team, and the Indiana Fever. Her energy, loyalty, and joy were felt whether on the sidelines or in the stands.

Sue's legacy is one of selfless love, unwavering support, and joyful service. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten by the many lives she touched.

A celebration of Sue's life will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, September 29, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Tony Price officiating.
