Sylvia L. Menger

Sylvia L. Menger, age 88, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Greenville Care Center.

She was born on January 7, 1938, in Dayton, to the late Kenneth and Elizabeth (Wamboldt) Oler.

In addition to her parents, Sylvia is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth G. Menger; and her brother, Bill Oler.

Sylvia is survived by her children, Butch (Carolyn) Byers of Greenville, Brent (Lori) Byers of Union City, Ohio, Cheryl Byers-Sneed of Oak Harbor, Ohio, and Lisa (Dave) Frew of Vandalia, Ohio; her grandchildren, Derek, Bri, Brandon, and Skyler; great grandchild, Lexi, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She graduated from New Madison High School. Sylvia worked many years in various sales positions and also as a bus driver. She was an amazing mother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Sylvia enjoyed fishing, working in her yard, sewing, painting, and traveling.

Per Sylvia's wishes, there will be no services at this time. Tribute Funeral Homes is serving Sylvia's family.
