Teresa Acevedo

Teresa Gail (Boggs) Acevedo, age 70, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

She was born on July 23, 1956, in Dayton, Ohio.

Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Ruth and Ray Rudisill and brother, Jim Rudisill.

Teresa leaves behind her loving husband, Ricardo Banuelos Acevedo, whom she married on September 23, 1984. She is also survived by her sons, Bryan Acevedo and Shawn Kirk; granddaughter, Bryelle Acevedo; sisters, Marilyn Bundy, Rebecca Boggs, and Pamela Boggs; brother, John Rudisill; special aunt and uncle, Gary and Bernice Rudisill; niece, Karen Rudisill; and many other extended family members and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Teresa was a hardworking woman who spent many years working at General Motors. She took great pride in staying busy and was someone who always found something to do. She especially enjoyed caring for her home and took great pride in keeping her yard beautiful and her home welcoming.

Above all, Teresa treasured her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, and caring sister. The love she had for her family was at the heart of everything she did, and the memories she created with those she loved will be treasured for years to come. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her love will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
