Theodore Kmiec

Theodore Kmiec, a native of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026.

Theodore was a steadfast and hardworking man who touched the lives of many with his dedication, strength, and quiet kindness. He was deeply loved by his fiancé, Elaine Kitchen, and his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Kmiec and Robert Roark, who will forever cherish his memory.

He found great joy in the outdoors, especially through hiking and spending time in nature. His passion for golfing was equally strong, bringing him both relaxation and happiness throughout his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Theodore’s memory to support Whitewater State Park in Indiana and Darke County Park conservation efforts, as well as cancer research.

Theodore will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his love for the outdoors, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him.
