Thomas P. Frazer, age 66, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 9, 2026.
He was born on January 28, 1960, in Greenville, to the late William and Martha (Curren) Frazer.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Celia Frazer.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Shelley (Clark) Frazer, whom he married on September 15, 2012; his stepchildren, Alishia (Andrew) Funk, Amy (Kevin) Brenner, and Bryant Schott, all of Greenville; numerous step grandchildren; his brother, Bill Frazer of Greenville; his niece, Heidi (Curt) Klosterman of Greenville; his nephew, Matthew Frazer of Columbus; and his great nieces, Madison and Brianna.
Tom was a 1978 graduate of Greenville High School. He went on to work for the State of Ohio for 30 years as a tax auditor. Tom was a member of the Greenville American Legion and the Greenville Moose Lodge, where he served as the lodge’s accountant for many years. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Moose Lodge, where he was a longtime member of the “Roundtable.”
If you knew Tom, you knew how much he loved sports. He was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan and rooted for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Tom was also a part of several fantasy football leagues over the years. He enjoyed attending Lady Wave softball games and was always there to support the many members of his family who played. Tom also spent many years coaching Little League teams, sharing his love of sports with the next generation. Tom also enjoyed bowling and was proud to be a member of the “800 Club” at Treaty Lanes.
Above all, Tom loved his family. He took great pride in supporting them and attending their activities throughout the years. Whether he was sitting in the stands, coaching, or simply spending time with those he loved, Tom was always there for his family.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. A Moose Lodge of Sorrow service will begin at 7:00 PM.
Guests may visit with Tom’s family on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family invites guests to dress as Tom would have wanted; casually and comfortably. Feel free to wear shorts, your favorite sports team apparel, or anything that reflects Tom’s laid-back spirit and love of sports.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Lady Wave Softball Program.
