Apr 17, 1955 — Oct 5, 2026

Bradford, Ohio

Timothy Paul McGlothin, age 71, Of Bradford, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 5, 2026, at EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.

He was born on April 17, 1955, in Greenville to the late M. Paul and Carolyn L. (Henderson) McGlothin. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his sister, Karen C. Whittaker.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Gloria (Oda) McGlothin, whom he married on August 1, 1980; his daughters, Laura (Aaron) Clawson and Sara (Casey) Douglass; his son, Clayton (Samantha) McGlothin; his grandchildren, Garrett Clawson, Gaige Clawson, Theron Douglass, Vivian Douglass, and Emeric Douglass; his sister, Kathleen (Don) House; and sisters-in-law, Marcia McCune and Anita (Mark) Schilling.

Tim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he became a truck driver and eventually owned and operated his own business. He was a hardworking and determined man who took pride in providing for his family and in the many things he was able to accomplish throughout his life. Tim attended First Baptist Church in Greenville, where his faith and relationship with God were an important part of who he was.

Tim was a man of many interests and talents. He enjoyed good food, especially prime rib and crab legs, and had a lifelong love of adventure and creating memories with his loved ones. He enjoyed designing and building things and had a particular appreciation for architecture. One of his proudest accomplishments was designing and building his own home. He also enjoyed playing the steel guitar and had a creative and mechanical mind that could always find a way to make something work.

More than anything, Tim was known for always going the extra mile. He loved his family deeply and was incredibly proud of each of them and the people they had become. His family was one of his greatest sources of joy and pride, and he cherished the time he was able to spend with them. He was a man who cared deeply for his faith, his family, and the people around him. Church and Scripture held a special place in his heart, and his faith was evident in the way he lived his life. He especially enjoyed keeping the religious meaning of the holidays at the center of his family's celebrations, remembering and honoring the true reason for the season.

Tim will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through the family he loved so dearly, the adventures he enjoyed, the work of his hands, the animals he cared for, and the faith he held so dear.
