Tony Kreitzer

Tony Scott Kreitzer, age 67, of Union City, Ohio, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Everheart Hospice Care Center, Greenville.

Tony was born on June 5, 1958 in Union City, Indiana to the late Leonard and Florence (Brown) Kreitzer.

In addition to his parents, Tony is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Jones, Dale Jones, Ronnie Kreitzer, and Jerry Kreitzer; sister, Patricia Hill; nephew, Ronnie Kreitzer Jr.; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Those left to cherish Tony's memory include his loving fiancee, Esther Inman; daughter, Renee (Kreitzer) McGhee; step-children, Denise and Joel Springer, and Scott and Jenny Smedley; sisters and brother-in-law, Terry (Kreitzer) and William Swartz, and Rose (Kreitzer) Edwards; sisters-in-law, Mary Kreitzer and Lois Jones; brother-in-law, Kenneth Hill; grandchildren, Damon McGhee and Dylan and Sandy McGhee; great grandchildren, Elaina McGhee and Kohen McGhee; step grandchildren, Candace and Corby Rickert, Isiah Smedley, and Jenessa Smedley; step great grandchildren, Zylar Rickert and Callie Rickert; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Tony graduated from Greenville High School. He retired from Workhorse Factory in Union City, Indiana. Many knew Tony from his work in painting and tree services. He belonged to the Greenville Eagles and Moose, and the Union City Elks. Tony loved camping, hot rods, and his Harley motorcycles. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially in his woods. Tony will be missed for his good heart and care for others. He was passionate about his family and always put his loved ones first. Tony will especially be missed by his dog, Jax.

Per Tony's request, no services will be held. In honor of Tony, memorial contributions may be made to EverHeart Hospice or the Cancer Association of Darke County.
