Virginia Ann Grim, 95, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Trustwell Living in Greenville.
She was born on August 2, 1928, in Darke County, to the late Joseph and Carrie (Jordon) Pearce.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Grim, whom she married in December 8, 1951 and who passed away on January 31, 2017; 7 brothers; and son in law, Jeff Burrell Sr.
Virginia is survived by her children, Carolyn Burrell of Arcanum, Gail (Thomas) Riegle of Arcanum, and Rodney (Kimberly) Grim of Greenville; her 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and one on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Virginia graduated from New Madison High School. She worked for Greenville City Schools for many years as a cook for the high school. Virginia was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenville and the Greenville Elks Lodge. She enjoyed being outdoors and tending to her rose bushes. Virginia also enjoyed playing cards and bingo, and going to the Great Darke County Fair.
A celebration of Virginia's life will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville, with Pastor Gary Blacklidge. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson.
Guests may visit with Virginia's family on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the start of the service at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Everheart Hospice, Greenville or First United Methodist Church, Greenville.
